Boxtops for Education
Take the boxtops to the school or drop them off at Brown-Dugger Funeral Home and we will take them for you.
●Boxtops for Education – Cut your boxtops and send them to school. Also go to http://www.boxtops4education.com/ and sign up for more ways to earn boxtops and coupons!
●Campbell’s Labels for Education – Go to www.labelsforeducation.com for more ways to save.
●My Coke Rewards – codes off of any coke product. We submit the codes and earn points that can be used to purchase supplies for the school. You can sign up online and submit the codes yourself and donate them to Perry Elementary School. For more info go to http://www.mycokerewards.com.
●Paper Recycle bins are located at each campus. Proceeds go to the schools.
●Homeland Dollars for Schools – Use your Homeland One Card next time you make a purchase and ask the cashiers to type in our school’s ID number 61065. Every time you use that Homeland One Card the school gets credit.
●Get involved in your child’s education. Decades of research show that when parents are involved students have:
1) Higher grades, test scores, and graduation rates 2) Better school attendance. 3) Increased motivation, better self-esteem 4) Lower rates of suspension 5) Decreased use of drugs and alcohol 6) Fewer instances of violent behavior
The more parents participate in schooling, in a sustained way, at every level – in advocacy, decision-making and oversight roles, as fundraisers and boosters, as volunteers and paraprofessionals, and as home teachers – the better for student achievement.
Lunch with Mom and Dad at Perry Elementary
Some kids love to have mom, dad, grandma or grandpa come and eat lunch with them at school. Feel free to check in at the Lower Elementary Office and eat lunch in the cafeteria with your child surrounded by all the other kiddos in their class.
It gives you a chance to spend a few minutes with your child and meet some of your child’s friends and teachers. If you come for lunch or breakfast make sure you park in the teacher parking lot.
The AM Pre-K classes dismiss during lunch time and the parents use the circle drive to pick up their children.
