He served his country in the United States Army from 1984 to 1988. After leaving the Army Lawrence resided in Böblingen, Germany where he met Iris Kemmerich and they proceeded to fall in love. In the following year they were blessed with a son Anthony Kemmerich. In 1993 Lawrence returned to the United States where he worked various jobs. He was a very outspoken person who enjoyed reading, spending time with family and friends. I wanted to express my heartfelt condolences to all of Lawrence’s family. Death is the hardest thing we have to deal with in life. I know my words can’t change anything and can do little to ease the pain you are feeling, so I pray that the God of comfort calm your hearts and help you heal. (2 Thessalonians 2:16,17) Lean on Him in the days to follow. For the Bible’s answers to questions about grief and death please visit JW.org.
