Agnes Pennington

Agnes M. Pennington, age 93, went to her heavenly home on March 23, 2019 in Perry, OK.Agnes was born to Henry and Lena (Botine) Behrends on August 28, 1925. She married Charles W. Pennington on December 22, 1945. Her passion was her family. She did ironing for the public and those who she ironed for became not only good friends but part of her family. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Perry, OK.

She is survived by her children:
Wilma Pennington Frazier Odell and Kevin, Stillwater, OK; Larry and Sharon Pennington , Corinth, TX; Ray and Dawn Pennington, Perrry, OK; Ruby Pennington Bentley and Buster, Perry, OK; Glen and Kathy Pennington, Perry, OK; Penny Pennington Key, Lone Grove, OK; Steve and Pam Pennington , Waxahachie, TX; Darla Pennington Novotny, Perry, OK; and Jimmy Pennington, Perry, OK. granddaughter/daughter Misty Pennington Grove and Bryce , Perry. OK; One brother Clarence Behrends, Hereford, TX and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Pennington; children
Charles Dee Pennington, Wanda Pennington Alley, and Billy Pennington; Parents Henry and Lena Behrends; and sisters Sylvia Behrends Durant, Ethel Behrends Lockridge, Mabel Behrends Ewing, and Edna Behrends Ewing.

Agnes will be remembered as a very loving strong-willed mother who instilled strong will, morals, and ethics into her children.

A funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Perry. Brother Kim will officiate. Burial will follow at Billings Union Cemetery. Pallbearers will include Matt Frazier, Cody Sheumake, Henry Alley, Orrin Alley, Jacob Heisler and Bryce Grove. Honorary bearers will be Quinton Bentley and Boyce
Alley. Family are welcome to come pay their respects at Brown Duggar Funeral Home on Monday from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. Family members will be present to receive guests at a reception Monday from 6 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
