Albert James Dolezal, a beloved family man and highly esteemed member of his community, passed away on October 1, 2025, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Born on May 26, 1938, in Perry, Oklahoma, Albert lived a life rich in love, dedication, and service.Albert had a fulfilling career with the U.S. Government’s Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), where he held various roles as a general manager including plane safety and inspection, teaching and radar. While working full-time with the FAA, he found the time to join his wife in becoming a broker in the real estate market for over 30 years. Albert joined the United States Air Force on June 4, 1956 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. While stationed in Scotland he met “The most beautiful girl in the world”. He was smitten at first sight. Soon after, on December 26, 1959, in Paisley, Scotland, Albert married Margaret Graham Mackintosh, the love of his life. Their partnership was a beautiful journey filled with shared dreams, laughter, and unwavering support. Together, they nurtured a warm and loving home in which they raised their family.A proud graduate of Ponca City High School, class of 1956, he participated in wrestling and other various sports; however, in 1954, his teacher, Mr. Arnold, told him the story of Jesus one day. Albert drove his car home, went to his room, and there lying on his bed, thinking back on that story, Albert gave his life to Christ. He maintained an active presence in his children’s lives sacrificing his own life for his family’s including enrolling his three children in a Christian school. What others may call extreme was his normal way of loving and providing for his family because Jesus has done so much more for him.Albert's personality shone brightest when he was surrounded by his family, especially spending cherished moments with his grandchildren. He took immense pride in his grandkids, who were undoubtedly his proudest accomplishments. Whether flying planes, cutting wheat, or simply helping with tasks that his grandchildren undertook, Albert's nurturing spirit extended to every corner of his life. He successfully built several houses with his son Allan and grandson Mark, teaching and guiding along the way. He was also known for his hardworking nature as a farmer, mowing yards, or taking beautiful photographs. Alas, Albert was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest J. Dolezal and Bessie Warren Dolezal, and his grandchild, Angel Dolezal. He is survived by his devoted wife, Margaret, and their loving family: daughter Emily Bingham and her husband Charles of Tuttle; sons A.J. Dolezal and his wife Cathy of Purcell, and Allan Dolezal and his wife Terri Lea of Moore. His legacy continues through his adoring grandchildren: Leann Holland and her husband Terry, Mark Bohon II and his wife Addy, Lisa Cavazos and her husband Nick, Heath Bohon and his wife Kristi, Joshua Madden and his fiancée Payton, Matt Fullerton and his wife Misty, Dillon Dolezal and his wife Jennifer, Dalton Dolezal and his wife Bekkah, Jacob Dolezal, Sam Dolezal, and, along with a host of great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind his brother Bud Dolezal of Perry and many nieces, nephews, and his beloved pets, Beau the dog and Bruiser, the grand dog.Albert’s memorial services will be held at First Baptist Church in Perry, Oklahoma.
