Butch Sanders, 67, of Orlando, Oklahoma was born to Jess Willard and Wanda Helen McDaniel Sanders. He was born July 29, 1943 in Greenwood, Mississippi and died Tuesday, August 10, 2010 in Orlando, Oklahoma. Butch was a very athletic person and loved all sports. He was a two time wrestling state champion and was allstate in football and wrestling. His Edmond wrestling team hosted a team from Japan which they defeated in return they were invited to wrestle in Japan. He graduated from Edmond High School in 1963. He attended school at Oklahoma State University for two years and was on the wrestling team and a member of the Sigma Nu Fraternity. He served in the Oklahoma National Guard from 19641965. He worked as a car salesman his entire life in Oklahoma, Texas and Mississippi. Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 14, 2010 at the United Methodist Church in Orlando. Pastor Adrian Pollard will officiate. Services are under the direction of BrownDugger Funeral Home in Perry. Memorials may be made to the Baptist Boys Ranch Town in care of BrownDugger Funeral Home, 1010 N. 7th Street, Perry, Oklahoma 73077. Butch is survived by his son, Rusty Linn Sanders of Bethany, Oklahoma and two sisters, Arlene Dugger and Shirley Robertson, both of Orlando, Oklahoma.
