Cecil Junior Chartier Sr.,68, of Grove, Oklahoma formerly of Garber, Oklahoma was born on June 3, 1949 in Enid, Oklahoma to Cecil Earl and Eltha Fay(Best) Chartier. He passed away on Monday, March 12, 2018 at his residence in Grove, Oklahoma.
Cecil joined the United States Air Force. He married the love of his life, Maudie Hall on October 10, 1970 in Enid, Oklahoma.
He was an auto mechanic for many years. Cecil enjoyed working on his 1938 International Rat Rod.
Cecil also enjoyed playing on his tablet, hunting, fishing, and garage sales. His favorite way to spend his time was being with his family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 16, 2018 at First Baptist Church in Garber, Oklahoma. Reverend Tom LeGrand will officiate. Interment will follow at Paradise Cemetery in Breckenridge, Oklahoma. Services have been entrusted to the care of Dugger Funeral Home in Garber, Oklahoma.

Cherishing his memory are his loving wife, Maudie Chartier of the home; three sons, Cecil Chartier Jr. and his wife, Saundra of Woodward, Oklahoma, Michael Chartier of Garber, Oklahoma, Jeffery Chartier and his wife, Pamelia of Bristow, Oklahoma; daughter, Shelia Hart and her husband, Rex of Grove, Oklahoma; 21 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren; four brothers, Don Chartier and his wife, Barbara of Enid, Oklahoma, Billy Chartier and his wife, LaDonna of Breckenridge, Oklahoma, Danny Chartier and his wife, JoLinda of Covington, Oklahoma, Terry Chartier, and his wife, Joan of Enid, Oklahoma; six sisters, Ada Shaw of Hennessey, Oklahoma, Ellen Mogg and her husband, Rod of Enid, Oklahoma, Carolynn Frale and her husband, Buddy of Enid, Oklahoma, Verne Rex and her husband, John of Enid, Oklahoma, Betty Jones and her husband, Mark of Enid, Oklahoma, Nancy Buckles and her husband, Jack of Enid, Oklahoma.
He is preceded in death by parents, Cecil and Eltha; one daughter, Patricia Rae Chartier, one granddaughter, Christa Lynn Chartier, and one brother, Earl Chartier.
