Christine Shields

Christine Shields, 78, of Perry, Oklahoma, was the daughter of Florn and Stella Mae Moran Burshik. She was born on December 23, 1933 in Crescent, Oklahoma and died Monday, January 23, 2012 at the Perry Memorial Hospital. She worked as a waitress and cook with various cafes in Perry. Christine had a love for pets or stray animals. She enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and board games. Christine spent the last 18 years with her sister and best friend, Rosanna Perkins. There will be a private family service. Arrangements are under the direction of BrownDugger Funeral Home. Christine is survived by one brother, Jim Burshik of Fairfax, Oklahoma one sister, Rosanna Perkins of Conroe, Texas and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Florn and Stella Burshik one sister, Mary Cooper and one brother, Charlie Burshik.
