Daniel Condit

Daniel Dan Ray Condit, 58, of Morrison, Oklahoma was the son of Cyrus Richard and Bertie Lou Walker Condit. He was born December 16, 1953 in Ponca City, Oklahoma and died Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at his residence in Morrison. Dan met his future wife and best friend Elizabeth Arlene Johnson and they were married on September 20, 1975 in Morrison, Oklahoma. Dan enlisted in the United States Air Force and served his country from 1975 to 1979 when he was honorably discharged with the rank of Sergeant. During his service career he was awarded the Air Force Good Conduct Medal and the Air Force Longevity Service Award. He returned home to work at Morrison Public Schools, National Standard Corporation and Ditch Witch and then he helped build the first car dealership in Morrison, Morrison Auto and Truck Sales. When Dan was not working or spending time with his family he loved golfing and boating. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Morrison, Oklahoma. Dan loved people and made a personal impact on the lives of many people and his nieces and nephews. He was especially proud of his children and that he was able to work alongside his oldest son Charles as they built the 1st car dealership in Morrison. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 31, 2011 at the Hilltop Country Church. Pastor Arron Grantz will officiate assisted by Pastor Russ Hughes. Interment will be in Morrison Cemetery in Morrison, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of BrownDugger Funeral Home in Perry, Oklahoma. Memorials may be made to Judith Karman Hospice in care of BrownDugger Funeral Home, 1010 N. 7th Street, Perry, Oklahoma 73077. Dan is survived by his wife Elizabeth two sons, Charles Dennis Condit and his wife Shannon Leigh of Morrison, Oklahoma, Ryan Michael Condit and his wife Hannah Renee of Sand Springs, Oklahoma one daughter, Andrea Lynn Galloway and her husband, B.J. of Morrison, Oklahoma six grandchildren, Amanda Thurber , Taylor Condit, Bo Galloway and Coy Condit all of Morrison, Oklahoma, Cody Condit and Steven Condit of Sand Springs, Oklahoma mother, Bertie Lou Condit of Morrison, Oklahoma one brother Richard Charles Condit of Morrison, Oklahoma one sister, Naomi Agnes Burgess of Morrison, Oklahoma and numerous nieces and nephews.
