David Beier

June 28, 1955 — February 8, 2015

David Edward Beier, 59, of Red Rock, Oklahoma, passed away February 8, 2015, at Stillwater Medical Center in Stillwater, Oklahoma.

David was born June 28, 1955, in Perry, Oklahoma, to Edward Jacob and Cleva Jo (Howard) Beier. He graduated from Red Rock High School in 1973, and farmed, ranched and was involved in the oil field all his life. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church east of Perry where he had served in the past as usher and been on the church council.

David loved living in the country and loved the oil field, a love he inherited from his father. His ability to locate oil was renown throughout north central Oklahoma, and was a consultant on several wells in the area.

David is survived by his sister, Eddetta Beier Grant, and her husband, Christopher of Sand Springs; a brother, Robert Lee Beier; a niece, Carrie Beier Brown and her husband Adam; a great nephew, Samuel Brown, and great niece, Emma Brown all of Perry. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Cleva Jo Beier; his nephew, Lee Dewey Beier, his maternal grandparents, Dewey and Ena May (Humphrey) Howard, and his paternal grandparents, Emil and Alvina Beier, Sr.

Graveside services will be held 1pm, Thursday, February 12, 2015 at the pavilion at Grace Hill Cemetery in Perry under the direction of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Thimell officiating.
