Doris Bechtold

Doris Bechtold, 81, of Houston, Texas was born August 3, 1924 in Summerville, South Carolina and died Tuesday, October 4, 2005 in Houston, Texas. Graveside services will be at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, October 8, 2005 in the Grace Hill Memorial Pavilion at Grace Hill Cemetery in Perry, Oklahoma. Services will be under the direction of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home of Perry. Doris and Jack Richard Bechtold of Perry, Oklahoma were married on July 12, 1945 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was Manager of Patient Relations at MD Anderson Cancer Hospital before retiring in 1991. Doris is survived by two sons, Terry Jack Bechtold, of Pineville, Louisiana and Thomas Earl Bechtold of Friendswood, Texas; two grandchildren, Laura Allison Herold of Houston, Texas and Eric Jackson Bechtold of San Diego, California; one great-grandchild, Emma Grace Herold of Houston, Texas; and one sister, Ann Ridgeway, of St. Matthews, South Carolina.
