Eldon Ray Spillman, 67, of Perry, Oklahoma died Monday, March 28, 2011 in Perry, Oklahoma. He was born to Henderson Andrew and Floris Etta Williams Spillman on July 3, 1943 in Sumner, Oklahoma. Eldon graduated from Sumner High School in 1961. On July 15, 1963 he married Brenda Gilmore in Stillwater, Oklahoma. They were blessed with three sons. He worked for Lester Williams at WW Tank Truck. In October 1963, he went to work for Carl Cooper at Cooper Radiator Shop. He bought the business in 1969 and owned it until March 31, 2007 when he became ill. Eldon enjoyed working on his vehicles, playing the guitar, fishing, basketball and tinkering on his tractor. He especially loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 1, 2011 at the First Baptist Church. Pastor Albert Quick will officiate, assisted by Brother Aaron Summers. Interment will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Sumner. The family will be receiving friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, March 31, 2011 at BrownDugger Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the St. Judes Childrens Hospital in care of BrownDugger Funeral Home, 1010 N. 7th Street, Perry, OK 73077. Eldon is survived by his wife, Brenda Spillman of the home three sons, Eldon Spillman, Jr. of Dayton, Ohio, Carl Spillman and his wife, Francesca, and Russell Spillman and his wife, Kim, all of Perry, Oklahoma one brother, Jimmy Spillman and his wife, Evelyn, of Perry, Oklahoma one sister, Doris Morris and her husband, Johnny, of Gadsden, Alabama five granddaughters, Summer Spillman, Kaya Davis, Cydnee Davis, Heidi Spillman and Cali Spillman, all of Perry, Oklahoma two grandsons, Gabriel Spillman of Perry, Oklahoma and Kyle Spillman of Washington State and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
