Elvin Lish

November 16, 1955 — December 21, 2025

Elvin Edward Lish, age 70, of Perry, Oklahoma, passed away on December 21, 2025, at OSU Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Elvin was born on November 16, 1955, in Oroville, California, to Laura and Fred Lager. He lived in Rio Linda, California for most of his life, before later making his home in Oklahoma, where he built a life centered on family, hard work, and laughter. He was preceded in death by his parents, Laura and Fred Lager, and his son, Tony Lish. He was married to his beloved spouse, Selma Stout, and was a proud father to Carolyn Leniger (Bradly Leniger), Tyler Stout, Andrea Evans (John Evans), Jason Stout, and Christopher Stout. Elvin was a devoted grandfather to Carter Stout, Gavin Leniger, Ivy Leniger, Carson Leniger, Emma Leniger, Tyler Leniger, Eric Evans, William Ramsey, Tatum Evans, Betty Evans, Quinn Stiles, Haley Evans, Taylor Brauer, Tristan Manter, Jason Stout Jr., Hayden Stout, and Mason Currnet. He was also blessed with great-grandchildren Loretta Evans, Archer Apostle, Maddox Brauer, Leia Brauer, Evelyn Lara, Ernesto Lara Jr., Matthias Stout, and Nova Lynn Castillo, who is soon to be born. He is also survived by his brother, Charlie Silva. Elvin worked for RCI Plumbing for well over 20 years, where he was known for his strong work ethic and dedication, eventually retiring after decades of service. In his free time, Elvin loved cooking, riding his Harley, pulling pranks, watching Oklahoma storms roll in, following NASCAR, and—most of all—spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. His grandchildren—especially “the Littles”—were the joy of his life. Elvin Edward Lish leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
