G. Euzeal Stoops, 90, of Perry, Oklahoma, was the daughter of William H. and Trannie Turner McAlister. She was born on August 6, 1922 in Venus, Texas and died Thursday, March 21, 2013 at Perry Memorial Hospital in Perry, Oklahoma. She graduated from Venus High School class of 1939. Euzeal married Ernest Stoops in April 1946 in Hobart, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on August 13, 1997. She enjoyed babysitting, embroidering tea towels and was a big Thunder Fan but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Euzeal was a member of the First Baptist Church of Perry, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at the First Baptist Church, in Perry, Oklahoma. Rev. Bobby Lee will officiate and Brother Aaron Summers will assist. Interment will be Grace Hill Cemetery. Services are under the direction of BrownDugger Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church in care of BrownDugger Funeral Home, 1010 N. 7th Street, Perry, Oklahoma 73077. Euzeal is survived by two sons, Larry Stoops of Perry, Oklahoma, Don Stoops of Morrison, Oklahoma one daughter, Lori Chris Cannida of Winston Salem, North Carolina one sister, Patsy Jackson of Venus, Texas one brother, John McAlister of Stratford, Texas seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Trannie four sisters, Donnie Chance, Lillian Bell, Callie Goad, Annie Wacaster three brothers, Houston McAlister, Fletcher McAlister and Verdel McAlister.
