Gerald Burke

Gerald Jerry Burke, 93, of Billings, Oklahoma was the son of Garland Bruce Sr. and Eula Frances Qualls Burke. He was born July 18, 1918 in Davidson, Oklahoma and died Sunday, January 1, 2012 at Grace Living Center in Bethany, Oklahoma. Jerry was a graduate of Davidson High School and Hills Business University. Jerry met his future wife and best friend Patti L. McMinn and they were married on August 15th, 1966 in Woodward, Oklahoma. He worked at Rush Metals for over thirty years while also farming. You could always find him on his farm but when he was not farming he loved to go fishing and golfing. Jerry also enjoyed volunteering at Meals on Wheels. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and a member of the First Baptist Church of Billings. He will be remembered by his friends and family as a loving father, brother, grandfather and great grandfather. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 5, 2012 at the First Baptist Church in Billings, Oklahoma. Rev. Floyd Westfall will officiate. Interment will be in Union Cemetery in Billings, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Dugger Funeral Home in Billings, Oklahoma. Family will receive friends 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 4th, 2012 at Dugger Funeral Home in Billings, Oklahoma. Gerald is survived by two daughters, Beverly Brining and her husband, Joe of Dallas, Texas and Robin Betchan of Enid, Oklahoma two sons, Roger Size and his wife, Lynne of Yukon, Oklahoma and Mike Size of Enid, Oklahoma eleven grandchildren, Michael Simic of Okono, Japan, Heather Winn of Pond Creek, Oklahoma, Mitchell Betchan of Breckenridge, Oklahoma, Kyle Betchan of Pond Creek, Oklahoma, Megan and Sarah Betchan of Enid, Oklahoma, Joe Burke Brining of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Anna Brining and Joe Burke Brining both of Dallas, Texas, Christina Bradshaw of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Melissa Size of Yukon, Oklahoma niece, Peggy Pollard of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and fifteen great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Garland and Eula Burke wife, Patti Burke one son, David Sizetwo sisters, Patsi Sparks and Elma Wilson one brother, G.B.
