Harlan E. Clark, 79, of Perry, Oklahoma, was the son of Ernest Bliss and Ethel Gertrude Crysler Clark. He was born on January 10, 1932 in Waukomis, Oklahoma and died Saturday, July 2, 2011 in Perry, Oklahoma. He was a graduate of Waukomis High School. Harlan served his country as a member of the United States Army from December 1949 to September 1954. On September 18, 1954, Harlan married Mary Louise Barlow in Joplin, Missouri. Harlan and Mary ran Clarks Meats from 1954 until 1963. He worked for Randall Motor Company, Distribution Construction Company and farmed and custom harvested from 1972 until 2007. He was a member of the First Christian Church, Perry Elks Lodge and the American Legion. Harlan was an avid gun collector. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at the First Christian Church. Rev. Martin Foster will officiate. Interment will be in Grace Hill Cemetery. Services are under the direction of BrownDugger Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church, American Cancer Society or the Hospice of your choice in care of BrownDugger Funeral Home, 1010 N. 7th, Perry, Oklahoma 73077. Harlan is survived by his wife, Mary Clark one daughter, Gina Bolay and husband, Brent, of Perry, Oklahoma two grandchildren, Brenette Taylor and her husband Michael of Randlett, Oklahoma and Brigitte Bolay of Stillwater and her fianceacute Kenny Ground of Mannford, Oklahoma, Oklahoma two great grandchildren, Dalton and Dylan Taylor of Randlett, Oklahoma and one brother, L.E.
