Helen Yarger

Helen Marie Yarger, 80, of Perry, Oklahoma was the daughter of Robert F. and Pearl Dodd Boone. She was born July 6, 1923 at Perry, Oklahoma and died at 10:05 p.m. Sunday, August 10, 2003 at her home. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 13, 2003 at Zion Lutheran Church, east of Perry. Rev. Martin Foster and Rev. Ben Mirtz will officiate. Interment will be in Grace Hill Cemetery under direction of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Judith Karman Hospice or Zion Lutheran Church in care of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home. Helen, a life-long resident of the Perry community, was a graduate of Perry High School. She and Everett George Yarger were married February 6, 1948 at Zion Lutheran Church. Her husband preceded her in death on November 3, 1994. She had been an employee of Triton Insurance Company in Perry. Helen was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. Survivors are a son, Ken Yarger, and his wife, Brenda, of Moore, Oklahoma; a daughter, Cindy St. Clair, and her husband, Jake, of Perry, Oklahoma; one brother, Robert L. Boone, of Bull Head City, Arizona; one sister, Imogene Boone, of Perry, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Jason and Christy Yarger, Joshua Yarger, Jill and Shaun Gray and Gabriel and Carly St. Clair; and great-grandchildren, Collin Yarger, Britney Yarger and Olivia St. Clair. Her husband, Everett, her parents and two sisters, Thelmalene Lowry and Velta Brenaman, preceded her in death.
