Jim D. Hotson, 49, of Perry, Oklahoma, was the son of Ernest G. Hotson and Phyllis M. Cermak Rudd. He was born on July 6, 1960 in Perry, Oklahoma and died August 25, 2009 at his home. Over the years, Jim had worked for the City of Perry, The Charles Machine Works, E-Z Drill and in the oilfield. He enjoyed dancing, fishing, barbequing, watching OU football, water skiing or anything outdoors. Memorial services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 31, 2009 at the Calvary Baptist Church. Rev. Alan R. Dunn will officiate. Inurnment will be in the Bohemian National Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home. Hotson of Covington, Oklahoma; his mother, Phyllis M. Rudd of Perry, Oklahoma; four children, Jason D. Hotson of Perry, Oklahoma, Aron J. Hotson of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, Sheena D. Hotson of Hopkinsville, Kentucky and Darreal Williams of Perry, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren; one brother, Marvin D. Hotson of Perry, Oklahoma; one sister, Brenda D. Zum Mallen of East Liberty, Ohio; his companion for over twenty years, Nikki Williams of Perry, Oklahoma; one step-daughter, Anirta LeValley of Marland, Oklahoma; one step-son, Eric Butler of Perry, Oklahoma; one nephew, Dennis Hotson of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; two step-sisters, Rita of Enid, Oklahoma and Jeanie of Pennsylvania; and one step-brother, John Earl, of Enid, Oklahoma.
