Karla Sue Rhoades, 60, of Perry, Oklahoma was the daughter of Clinton Robert and Mercedes Fay Taylor Miller. She was born March 15, 1951 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and died Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at her residence in Perry. She met her husband and best friend John Arthur Rhoades and they were married on March 25, 1998 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Karla enjoyed sewing and crafts but above all she enjoyed watching her grandkids and being part of their activities. She was an amazing friend and avid dart player who always faced life with a smile. Her faith and family was a great comfort to her. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother by her friends and family. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 12, 2011 at the First Baptist Church. Pastor Brett Nation will officiate. Interment will be in Grace Hill Cemetery. Services are under the direction of BrownDugger Funeral Home in Perry, Oklahoma. Family will receive friends 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, December 11, 2011 at BrownDugger Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Perry Relay for Life in care of BrownDugger Funeral Home, 1010 N. 7th Street, Perry, Oklahoma 73077. Karla is survived by her husband John of the home two sons, Damon Yarborough and his wife, Maiko of Tinker AFB, Oklahoma, Jimmy Yarborough of Yukon, Oklahoma one stepson, Kenny Rhoades of Perry, Oklahoma two daughters, Jennifer Kime and her husband, Travis of Perry, Oklahoma, Dawn Dorman and her husband, Rich of Las Vegas, Nevada one stepdaughter, Jennifer Zimbelman and her husband, Day of Edmond, Oklahoma one brother, Jimmy Lee Terry and his wife, Shelly of Kilgore, Texas one sister, Sandy Larison and her husband, Gary of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma motherinlaw, Dorothy Fhering and extended family 15 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and best friends Bob and Linda Novotny.
