Kim Eileen Diehm Gillilland has gone to her eternal rest. She was 63 years old. She was born in Ponca City on October 27, 1957 the daughter of Martin Ray Diehm and Shirley Ann Gemmel Diehm. She attended school in Red Rock. While attending school she enjoyed being a Red Rock Rocket, she was often referred to as one of the star players. She graduated in the spring of 1975, where she was honored to be the valedictorian. She married the love of her life, Dennis Gilliland on May 22, 1976 in Red Rock. She spent her time raising her two kids and being a rancher’s wife. She never complained about muddy boots or late nights making costumes for school programs. She was a talented quilter who made many beautiful works of art to keep her loved ones warm. She enjoyed teaching children’s church lovingly giving her time to those less fortunate who had not heard Jesus’s words. A great spoiler of grandkids, she loved to cater to their every need. She was preceded in death by her parents Martin and Shirley Diehm She leaved behind to cherish her memory her husband Dennis Gilliland of the home, son Gary Gilliland of Stillwater, daughter Shelley Gottfried of the home, grandson Colby Gilliland, granddaughters Chloe Gilliland, Celsie Gottfried, and Brooklyn Gottfried as well as one brother David Diehm of Red Rock. She was loved deeply and will be missed always. Graveside services will be held at Grace Hill Cemetery of Perry, OK at the Pavilion beginning at 2 p.m. on Monday December 28, 2020. Due to the current pandemic, the family wants to keep the service private. Please respect their wishes. Friends are welcome to stop by Brown-Dugger Funeral Home of Perry on Saturday December 26th from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. and on Sunday December 27th from 10 am until 6 p.m. to pay their respects and leave condolences in her guest book. Please take advantage of the extended hours for your safety. Masks and hand sanitizer will be provided along with bottled water.
