Leo Hasenfratz, 99, of Perry, Oklahoma was the son of Ignatz and Katy Stiver Hasenfratz. He was born October 14, 1911 in Noble County, southeast of Perry, and died Sunday, April 17, 2011 at Green Valley Nursing Home. He attended Perry schools and later was employed at Farmers Exchange for about 10 years. He owned and operated Noble County Produce for over 20 years. He was employed at the Perry Veterinary Clinic for over 30 years, working with Dr. Wayne Bilby, Dr. Paul Edmundson , Dr. Starling Miller and Dr. Martin Roth. Leo married Ethel E. Wagoner of Mulhall, Oklahoma in 1937 at Perry, Oklahoma. To this union four children were born. He and Lucille Hansing were married on June 25, 1976 in Ponca City, Oklahoma. She preceded him in death on September 29, 2007. Leo was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. After his retirement, he enjoyed fishing and the company of his cat and dog. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. Father Tom Dowdell will officiate. Interment will be in St. Rose of Lima Catholic Cemetery. Services are under the direction of BrownDugger Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6:008:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at BrownDugger Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Altar Society of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in care of BrownDugger Funeral Home, 1010 N. Seventh Street, Perry, Oklahoma 73077. He is survived by his two sons, Tom Hasenfratz and his wife, Pat, of Ponca City, Oklahoma and Dan Hasenfratz and his wife, Patsy, of Perry, Oklahoma one daughter, Sandra Grubb and her husband, Maurice, of Perry, Oklahoma five grandchildren, Tommia Hasenfratz of Ponca City, Oklahoma, Judy Vesper of Midland, Texas, Barbara Debish of Stafford, Virginia, Michael Grubb of Arlington, Texas and John Grubb of Perry, Oklahoma eight greatgrandchildren and one greatgreatgrandchild. Leo is preceded in death by his first and second wives his parents one daughter, Shirley Hasenfratz two granddaughters, Mitzi Grubb and Dana Hasenfratz three brothers and one sister.
