Leta Faye (Franks) Baetz, 84 of Perry, Oklahoma went to be with her Lord and Savior and beloved husband Ron, on October 19, 2017 at Perry Memorial Hospital in Perry, Oklahoma. She was born on August 20, 1933 to George Waymn and Doris Franks Branscum in Purcell, Oklahoma.
Leta Faye retired from many years of work at Busha's Boutique. She was very well known for her love of baking, and especially known for her chocolate cakes and chocolate chip cookies. What she treasured most was spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Leta Faye was an active member of the Christ Lutheran Church in Perry. She was baptized and confirmed in Christ and served in various organizations of the Church; Sunday School Superintendent, Vacation Bible School Director, and she was a member of the LWML Women's organization of Christ Lutheran Church. Leta Faye and her beloved Ron were once named Valentine Sweethearts by the youth of the Lutheran congregation.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 24 at 10:00 AM at Christ Lutheran Church with burial to follow at Grace Hill Cemetery in Perry, Oklahoma under the care of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home, Perry. Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Monday, October 23 at Brown-Dugger Funeral Home.
Leta Faye will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and will be missed by family and very special friends acquired throughout the years. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Doris; her husband, Ronald; her daughter, Jana Potter; a grandson, Hesten William Potter; and two brothers, Alton and Ralph Franks.
She is survived by her children; Roni Folsom and husband, Richard of Perry OK; Gary Baetz and wife, Patti of Perry, OK; (Ronald) Mark Baetz and wife, LeeAnn of El Paso, TX; son in law, Jerry Potter of Red Rock, OK; sister in law, Loretta Franks of Okemah, OK; Hubert Underwood of Portland, OR; sister in law, Yvonne Hodge of Perry, Oklahoma; brother in law, Donald Baetz of Poteau, Oklahoma; twelve grandchildren, Mindy Crupper and husband, Brandon; Cody Folsom; Jessica Knox and husband, Lidy; Kaelyn Roberts and husband, Jeff; Kassy Groom and husband, Matt; Ashley Potter; Blake Baetz, Dusti Baetz, Taelor Baetz and Darcy Baetz; Lacy Davis, and Amber Hill. Great Grandchildren, Jase Roberts; Skyler Kindrick and Laikyn Hill.
