Mary Cochran

Mary Glynn Munger, 90, was born in Perry, Oklahoma, to Edna and William Munger. She died quietly in her sleep on August 11, 2015. She graduated from Perry High School, where she played clarinet in the band. She married Fred Cochran in 1946 and they were married for almost 50 years, until his death. They had four children: Jeanie, Gayle, Marion, and Carol. Glynn was currently a resident at Baptist Village in Oklahoma City. Glynn was a devoted Christian, a quilter, an artist, and a writer.

Glynn was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings, her husband, and her daughter, Gayle Berling (David), Phoenix, AZ. She is survived by her daughters Jeanie Cochran, Oklahoma City, Marion Edwards (Robert), Bedford, TX, and Carol Swigart (Soren), Bismarck, AR. Other surviving relatives include Susan Lawyer (John), Tulsa, Jim Reed (Janice) Enid, Paula Duncan (Rick), Oklahoma City, Tom Nelson (Nancy), Douglas, OK, Lonnie Nelson (Portland, OR) , Brad Ross, and sister-in-law Donna Gayle Munger (George), Lakewood, CO. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and her beloved step-grandchildren.

Glynn will be cremated and laid to rest in Perry, with a memorial service at a later date.
