Maudie Belle Chartier, of Grove, Oklahoma passed away at September 8, 2018 at the age of 67. She was born on October 6, 1950 to John and Ola Mae Hall in Lawton, Oklahoma.

Maudie went to school and graduated from Lamont High School in 1969. After graduation she met her husband, Cecil in Enid, Oklahoma. It was love at first sight with Cecil and Maudie. They were married 4 months later on October 23, 1970 and went on to have 5 children together.

Maudie attended the Garber Baptist Church. She was a stay at home at home mom and loved that she got to spend so much time with her children. Her hobbies included camping with the family, watching soap opera's or a good western, and spending time with her grandchildren. In her earlier years she would go to car shows with her husband. They would go and show off their 57 Chevy and 64 Falcoln. They loved to go garage selling and check out the antique shops on Saturday mornings when they got the chance. On a nice day you might've seen her on the 1994. Maudie enjoyed many things in life, but she loved nothing more than her friends and family.

Cherishing her memory are her children, Mike Chartier and his wife Chessie of Garber, Oklahoma, Cecil Chartier Jr. and his wife Sandra of Woodward, Oklahoma, Jeff Chartier and his wife Heather of Grove, Oklahoma, and Sheila Hart and her husband Rex of Grove, Oklahoma; brother, Jacob Hall and his wife Rose of Enid, Oklahoma; sisters, Cheryn Birkle of Perry, Oklahoma, Audrey Martin and her husband Mark of Enid, Oklahoma; 18 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Chartier; daughter, Patricia Chartier; granddaughter, Christa Chartier; parents, John and Ola Hall; sister, Quanah Hall; sister, Terry Sewell-Hall; and brothers, John hall, Eddie Hall, Marion Hall, and Jimmy Hall.

A memorial service will be held at the Garber Baptist Church on September 12, 2018 at 2:00pm with pastor Tom LeGrand officiating. Services have been entrusted to the care of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home.
