Patrick James Goodwin, 20, of Edmond, Oklahoma was born to James and Therese Goodwin in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on January 5th, 1998. He went to be with his heavenly father on Tuesday, April 3rd, 2018 in Norman, Oklahoma. Patrick attended Edmond High School and earned his high school diploma on August 30th, 2016. He was employed at Simply Flowerbeds where worked as a landscaper for 3 years.
Some of his interests included fishing, hunting, and raising reptiles. Patrick enjoyed the company of his dog, Ziggy, and his snake, Sahara. He spent a great deal of time outdoors and expressed his creativity by making his own traps and crates. Patrick's family will forever remember him for his free spirit, and his love for music and festivals. One of his favorite artists was Tech Nine, who made his favorite songs "The Pledge" and "Hitting On All Sevens". Patrick was always admired for his composure as well as his contagious hugs. Services will be held 1:00PM Friday, April 13th, 2018 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Perry, Oklahoma where Father Bala will be officiating the service. Interment will follow at St. Rose Catholic Cemetery in Perry, Oklahoma. Services have been entrusted to the care of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home in Perry, Oklahoma.
Cherishing his memory are his loving parents James Goodwin and Therese Goodwin (Hamm); brothers, William and Isaiah Goodwin, and sister, Jessica Hawkins, all of Edmond, Oklahoma; his nephews, Junior and London Warner of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; his grandmothers, Bonnie Goodwin of College Station, Texas, and Kaye Hamm of Perry, Oklahoma; and numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins, and his close friends, Peerliss Henderson, Gabe Dunlap, Phillip Somrasmy, Eric Cossey, and Jakob Bakhtiari. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Carl and Marjorie Hamm, and William E Goodwin, as well as his beloved dog Kaia.
