Reed Lewis Coldiron passed away on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at 67 years old. He was born on May 19th, 1954 in Perry, Oklahoma. His parents were Kenneth K and Mary Ellen Coldiron. Reed graduated from Star Spencer High School in 1972 and was a member of the high school wrestling team. He went to Oklahoma State University, where he met the love of his life, Ronita(Roni) Montgomery. The couple married on August 21, 1977. Reed began his career at the Charles Machine Works that same year. He worked at the CMW for 35 years, working in various managerial positions until his retirement. Reed loved sports, an avid OSU fan, and enjoyed playing golf. He also coached little league baseball, basketball, football, and wrestling while his sons were growing up and continued coaching after his kids were grown. He was a founding member of the Sunrise Lions Club and very active in the Perry Kids, Inc association. He is survived by his wife Ronita(Roni) of the home, son Derek Coldiron and his wife Daphne of Perry, son Brett Coldiron and his wife Kimberly of Stillwater, grandchildren Zac, Audra and Izabella of Perry, brothers Dan Coldiron and his wife Beverly of Perry and Clark Coldiron and his wife Beth, cousins Vicki Coldiron of South Padre, Terry Coldiron and his wife Jenny of Maryland as well as a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Kenneth K and Mary Ellen Coldiron, and brother Carl Lee Coldiron. Memorial Donations may be made to the Upper Elementary Star Tree of Perry at the Upper Elementary c/o Student Council Star Tree. The family is planning a grave side service at a later date.
