Robina Busse

Robina Belle Moore Busse, 97, of Perry, Oklahoma was the daughter of Calvin Davis and Sarah Elizabeth Brummitt Moore. She was born February 19, 1912 at Perry, Oklahoma and died Wednesday, August 19, 2009 at Green Valley Nursing Home. A long-time resident of the Perry community, Belle attended Highland and New Hope District 75 schools in Noble County. On September 21, 1929, she and Henry William Busse were married at the courthouse in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. They made their first home in Oklahoma City and later returned to Perry. Belle was employed as a cook at the Perry Junior High School cafeteria until she retired in 1970. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 22, 2009 at the First United Methodist Church in Perry. Rev. Ed Cook will officiate. Interment will be in Grace Hill Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the First United Methodist Church in care of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home, 1010 N. 7th Street, Perry, Oklahoma 73077. Belle is survived by one son, Clifford Busse and his wife, Lila, of Perry, Oklahoma; one daughter, Laura Sappington and her husband, Joe, of Perry, Oklahoma; 10 grandchildren, Mike Patak of Perry, Oklahoma, Charla Seeliger of Edmond, Oklahoma, Chris Busse of Ketchum, Oklahoma, Tawni Sigrist of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Doug LeForce of Perry, Oklahoma, Frank LeForce of Guthrie, Oklahoma, Connie Betchan of Perry, Oklahoma, Bobby Sappington of Glencoe, Oklahoma, Debbie Leonard of Stillwater, Oklahoma and Julie Johnson of Chandler, Oklahoma; twenty-six great-grandchildren, sixteen great-great-grandchildren and two great-great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Henry Busse, who died on July 26, 1954, Belle was preceded in death by her parents, D.C. Dace and Sarah Elizabeth Moore; all of her siblings and three grandchildren.
