Rod Hopkins, 57, of Orlando, Oklahoma was born to Harold Marsh and Gloria Belle Kemnitz Hopkins. He was born August 18, 1953 in Tulsa, Oklahoma and died Tuesday, September 21, 2010 in Orlando, Oklahoma. He married Sally Ann Goodwin on November 11, 1989 in Blackburn, Oklahoma. Rod served our country in the United States Air Force. He was stationed in Ismit, Turkey and worked as security. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, working outside and target practice. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 25, 2010 at BrownDugger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Ed Cook will officiate. Interment will be in Grace Hill Cemetery. Services are under the direction of BrownDugger Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, Dean A. McGee Eye Institute Endowment Fund, or Charity of Choice in care of BrownDugger Funeral Home, 1010 N. 7th Street, Perry, Oklahoma 73077. Rod is survived by his wife, Sally Ann Hopkins, of the home daughter, Erin Nicole Kleinsasser of Welton, Arizona, stepdaughter, Angela and her husband, Russell Brand, of Perry, Oklahoma grandchildren, Derek Kleinsasser and Sydney Kleinsasser, both of Welton, Arizona stepgrandchildren, Brenna Brand, Adam Brand, and Jeffrey Brand, all of Perry, Oklahoma parents, Harold and Gloria Hopkins, of Orlando, Oklahoma sister, Debby and her husband, Mickey Brown, of Perry, Oklahoma nephews, Jeff Brown of Perry, Oklahoma, and John Brown of Overland Park, Kansas.
