Sandra Edwards

December 10, 1957 — March 27, 2024

Sandra Kay Edwards, born in Muskogee, Oklahoma on December 10th, 1957, has peacefully left this world on March 27th, 2024, at her home in Perry, Oklahoma. Sandra's journey on this earth was adorned with the simple joys of life and a deep love for nature.

Having graduated from Muskogee Oklahoma in the mid-1970s, Sandra found fulfillment in her career as a clerk at various retail locations in Perry. Her dedication and hard work endeared her to the community she served over the years.

Sandra's persona was illuminated by her profound affection for animals. She shared her home with many cats and dogs, finding solace and companionship in their presence. Not to be forgotten were her beloved chickens who brought a sense of liveliness to her homestead.

In her leisure time, Sandra reveled in the tranquility of the countryside, tending to her garden with care and nurturing her vibrant flowers. The serene pastime of fishing and exploring dirt roads brought her immense joy and contentment.

Although Sandra has bid farewell to this world, she is survived by a loving family who cherish the memories they shared with her. Her husband Jeff Edwards remains at the home they built together. Her sons Roger McFarlin (Diane) of Houston and James Norton of Tulsa hold dear the moments spent with their caring mother. Grandchildren Dylon McFarlin (Houston), Addison Norton (Tulsa), Bradley Karcher (Kennedy), Harley Meyers (Oklahoma City), and great-granddaughter Maisey Karcher will always hold a special place in their hearts for their grandmother.

Additionally, Sandra leaves behind stepson Jesse Edwards (Eric) of Edmond along with a vast extended family that embraces fond recollections shared with her through the years. Among them are Zoe the dog and Sophie the cat, who offered constant companionship to Sandra.

In honoring Sandra's life, we remember a gentle soul whose presence exuded warmth and kindness. She touched the hearts of many with her selflessness and compassionate nature. As we bid farewell to Sandra Kay Edwards, let us carry forth her legacy of love and simple joys she found in life's everyday blessings. May she find eternal peace in the tranquil gardens of beyond.
