Silas Xavier Jasiah Creekmore, a precious baby boy, graced this world with his presence on June 5, 2025, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Tragically, his journey on earth came to an unexpected end on July 5, 2025, in Perry, Oklahoma, just one month after he filled the hearts of those who loved him with immense joy and love.
Silas was adored by his family, who cherished every beautiful moment with him. He was a sweet infant with dark hair, tiny hands, and tiny feet that brought smiles to everyone around him. His sweet face radiated innocence and love, making it impossible not to feel warmth in his presence. His mother's gentle rocking and the tender embraces from his family filled his days with comfort and security.
The nursery that cradled Silas was lovingly adorned with a heartwarming space theme, a testament to the dreams and aspirations his family held for him. With bright toys and soft stuffed animals surrounding him, Silas brought an irreplaceable light into their lives, signaling the beginning of many beautiful memories to come. Those moments, however brief, were layered with the excitement of new beginnings and love.
He is survived by his loving mother, Harley Thedford, and devoted father, Dakota Creekmore, who will forever hold him in their hearts. His grandparents, Heather Leonard and Dana Tell, along with his grandmothers Jamie Thedford, and husband Louis Pacheco, and great-grandparents Sherri Bateman, Edwin Shaffer, Dustin Thedford, and Paula Schnaithman and husband Dave, all showered him with affection, marking each moment as a treasure. He also leaves behind his uncle, Montana Howland; aunts Ivy Tell and husband Josh Howell, Haylee Swoboda, Lexus Tell, and Harmony Pacheco, as well as numerous cousins who were excited to welcome him into their lives.
Though he was with us for a fleeting time, Silas touched many lives, creating bonds that will endure beyond the limitations of this world. He joins his great-grandfather Kermit J. Fielder, Sr., grandfather Robin N. Allison, aunt Echo M. Love, and his baby sibling Dakota Skye Creekmore, who have passed on. Together, they surely watch over him with love.
Silas’ family invites all who knew and loved him to celebrate his life. Viewing will be held at Brown-Dugger Funeral Home in Perry, Oklahoma, on Thursday, July 10, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, followed by a visitation with family Thursday night from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A Celebration of Life will take place the following day, July 11, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Brother Kim Hays will officiate. Honorary casket bearers include Grandpa Robin Allison, Great-Great-Great-Grandmother Anna Redmon, and Great-Great-Great-Grandmother Rose Kimnitz.
Although Silas’ time was brief, the love he ignited will resonate through the hearts of those left behind, a poignant reminder of the preciousness of life. He is forever embedded in their souls, a sweet memory worth cherishing for eternity.
