STEVEN BERT MOORE

Steven Bert Moore, age 51 of Enid, Oklahoma passed away on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at his home in Enid, Oklahoma.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at the Brown-Dugger Funeral Home in Perry, Oklahoma. Cremation will follow. Friends may leave online condolences at www.brown-duggerfuneralhome.com. The family has suggested memorials to the Human Rights Campaign and contributions may be left at the Brown-Dugger Funeral Home.

Steven Bert Moore was born July 9, 1965 on the March Air Force Base, in California to Bert A. and Gudrun (Schmidt) Moore. Steven's father was in the military so the family moved around as he grew up between Germany and the United States. Steven graduated from the Stillwater High School in 1983. After graduation Steven entered the United States Air Force until his honorable discharge in 1987.

Steven then attended and graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in Political Science Degree in 1991. He worked in the healthcare profession and was later self employed business owner. He mostly recently worked as the financial liaison for St. Mary's Hospital in Enid. He was the president of the Los Alamos Piecemaker and was a member of Human Rights Companion.

Survivors include his mother Gudrum (Schmidt) Moore of Morrison, Oklahoma; two sisters Patricia Ann Fleming of Springfield, Ohio and Pamela Susan Moore-Condit and husband Richard of Morrison, Oklahoma; nephew Matthew Fleming, niece Samantha Fleming, niece Aidan Waters, niece and god child Abigail Haley Condit.

He was preceded in death by his father Bert A. Moore and his sister Denise Waters.
