Teddy Slusher

Teddy Lou Slusher, resident of Perry, passed Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at the Green Valley Nursing Home at the age of 62.

Teddy was born February 1, 1952 in Blackwell, Oklahoma, the daughter of Robert Huff and Ruby Edith (Woods) Huff. She attended the Blackwell Schools. She was married to Francis Slusher on April 25, 1980 in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. The couple moved to Perry in 1995, moved away for a short time and returned in 2002. Teddy worked as a nurse's aide and her enjoyments were spending time with her family, visiting others, crocheting and various other crafts. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church.

She is survived by her husband Francis, of the home; seven children, Mark Dunagan, Timothy Dunagan, Eugene Frederick Slusher III, Mary Dunagan, Rebecca Kuchera, Christhper Scot Slusher and Tracy Chastain; 14 grandchildren; eight siblings, Bobby Lynn Huff, Barbara Friend, Jerry Huff, Eddie Huff, Patricia Huff, Linda Artega, Diane Robles and Billy Wayne Huff; former mother-in-law, Stephanie Breckenridge; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and three brothers, James Huff, Max Huff and Randall Huff.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, January 22, 2015 at Perry Assembly of God Church, 401 Rutherford, Perry, Oklahoma. Pastor Brett Nation will preside over the service.
