Terry Clark

Terry Lynn Clark, 58, of Garber, Oklahoma was the son of Woody and Zelma Clark. He was born on October 12, 1954 in Enid, Oklahoma and went to be with Jesus, our Lord and Savior, Thursday, October 3, 2013 after a short bout with cancer at his residence in Garber, Oklahoma. He attended Garfield Elementary in Enid, Oklahoma as a child. He later moved to Lamont as a teenager and graduated from Lamont High School in 1972. As a teenager he started playing music and his first band was LA Transit. In 1972 he married Ramona Baker and to this union three children were born, Terra, Shawn and Megan. They made their home in Medford where Terry was active in the Medford Jaycees. He also continued playing music with various bands around the Enid and surrounding areas with various musicians. Terry married Brenda Johnson on September 2, 1994 in Nash, Oklahoma. He loved spending time with his grandchildren who with great affection called him Papa. They were the light of his life. Throughout the years, Terry had a variety of jobs but he enjoyed truck driving the most. Terrys hobbies included fishing, barbqueuing, writing music and poetry, but his passion was singing and playing all types of music with his bass guitar. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family that he touched with his sense of humor and inner spark. Terry was a member of the Antelope Valley Church of the Brethren of Billings, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 7, 2013 at the First Baptist Church of Garber, Oklahoma. Pastor Kelly Cronkhite will officiate. Interment will be in the Garber Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Dugger Funeral Home in Garber, Oklahoma. Memorials may be made to the Antelope Valley Church of the Brethren in care of Dugger Funeral Home, P.O. Box 66, Garber, Oklahoma 73738 Terry is survived by his wife, Brenda Hunt Clark of the home two daughters, Terra Morgan of Nevada, Missouri and Megan Kirby and her husband, Troy of Lamont, Oklahoma three sons, Shawn Clark of Dallas, Texas, Gerald Johnson and his wife, Tandra of Garber, Oklahoma, Daniel Johnson of Garber, Oklahoma four grandchildren, Willow Morgan of Nevada, Missouri, Aiden Johnson and Alec Johnson both of Garber, Oklahoma, Kensie Kirby of Lamont, Oklahoma one sister, Pauline Solorio of Duncan, Oklahoma numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
