If you close your eyes and listen, you will hear the soft sound of angels weeping today. Our sweet baby girl, Violet Victoria Carmona has gone to heaven. She was only 11 months, 2 weeks and 4 days old. Violet was born on Thursday, September 9, 2021, in Oklahoma City to Joel Andrew Carmona and Drew Alexis McAnally both of Spencer. She was a sweet and loving baby with a heart of gold. Violet was full of joy and loved cats. She was always so excited to see nanny’s kitties. She had a big personality and was full of sass. Although she started walking recently, August 13th, little miss Violet didn’t like wearing shoes and socks. A true free spirit at heart she wanted to run free. She brought sunshine to our lives and will be forever missed.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her parents, Joel and Drew of the home, sister Natalya Carmona, grandfather Hector Carmona of Abilene, grandmother Silvia Lerma of Houston, grandparents Shawn & Amy McAnally of Ponca City, and grandparents Amy Woolery and Joe of Stillwater, great grandmother Vicki McAnally, great grandfather Robert Woolery, great grandmother Darlene Woolery, and papa Curly Corwin. Violet is also survived by many aunts and uncles including Hector Carmona, Richard Carmona, Michael Carmona, Steve Carmona, Benjamin Carmona, Harley Carmona, Kirstie McAnally, Elliott McAnally, Emma Smith, Benjamin McAnally and James Smith, numerous cousins including Alex Carmona.
She was preceded in death by her great grandfathers Charles McAnally, Hector Carmona, and Victorino Lerna as well as great grandmothers Sonia Carmona and Guadalupe Lerna.
Funeral services under the direction of Brown Dugger Funeral Home of Perry will begin at 2 p.m. at the Church of Christ Church of Perry. Minister Mark Uhlman will officiate. Casket bearers will be grandfather Shawn McAnally and grandfather Hector Carmona. Burial will follow at the Roselawn cemetery of Mulhall, OK.
Please send violet flowers to the funeral home.
