Virgil LeRoy Nimrod Jr.

Virgil LeRoy Nimrod Jr., age 69 of Covington, Oklahoma passed away September 16, 2016 at the ST. Mary's Medical Center in Enid, Oklahoma.

Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, September 26, 2016 at the Grace Hill Cemetery under the direction of the Brown-Dugger Funeral Home.

Virgil LeRoy Nimrod Jr. was born August 7, 1947 in Wichita, Kansas to Virgil LeRoy Sr. and Elsie (Jabara) Nimrod. He grew up in Wichita, Kansas and graduated from the Bell Carter High School.

On September 12, 1974 Virgil married Naoma James in Wichita, Kansas where the couple made their home. The couple moved to Perry, Oklahoma in 1980 and in 1983 to Covington, Oklahoma. Virgil worked with his Father and Brother in a meat market in Wichita, Kansas before owning and operating the largest greenhouse in Oklahoma for Cactus. Virgil also liked to scrap.

Survivors include his wife Naoma of the home; one son James Michael Nimrod of Covington, Oklahoma; four step children Debra Ann Williams, Ramona Jeanette Cook, Kathy Renne Williams, and Darrell Allen Williams all of Wichita, Kansas; one brother Steven Nimrod of Wichita, Kansas.
