Virginia Anderson

Virginia S. Anderson, 84, of Garber, Oklahoma, was the daughter of Charles Hillerman and Alice Manilla Ford Stanton. She was born on December 9, 1918 in Worthington, Minnesota and died on Monday, August 18, 2003 at the Enid Senior Care Center. Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, August 21, 2003 at the Garber Cemetery. Rev. Jerry Galbreath will officiate. Services are under the direction of Dugger Funeral Home of Garber. Memorials may be made to University Place Christian Church in care of Dugger Funeral Home. Virginia married Theodore Robert Anderson on February 20, 1960 in Sacramento, California. He preceded her in death on November 6, 1988. She worked for the U.S. Government Corps of Engineers in Sacramento, California until she retired in 1976. Virginia is survived by one daughter, Meridee Bailey of Garber, Oklahoma, four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband and her parents.
