Cody Lyn Mack, son of John and Alice Marie Mack, was born on April 2, 1969, in Oklahoma City, OK. He was raised in the Lucien community and attended Covington-Douglas Schools graduating in 1987. While in school, he enjoyed learning and playing football and basketball. He also attended college at OSU and NWOSU. He was a member of the Lucien Methodist Church.
Cody developed a strong work ethic farming and later by working for his dad, John, and uncle, Lawrence Mack with M&M Trenching. He loved to reminisce about all the various jobs he and the crew completed. Later, Cody went to Ditch Witch where he worked for over 25 years. He was a loyal and hardworking employee who took pride in his work. His wife and son would often jokingly refer to him as “Mr. Ditch Witch.” Cody was no stranger to hard work and did so eagerly and without complaint. He was the type of person who would help anyone in need, yet rarely asked for help himself. He had a dry sense of humor and enjoyed knowing he had several Facebook fans. He was a hardcore Republican who loved Trump and Reagan. Cody was an avid reader who studied politics and military history. He loved OU, especially Sooner football. He also volunteered for the Lucien Fire Department for several years.
Cody leaves behind many people who love him dearly who are heartbroken to lose him so soon. Surviving Cody are his wife Stacey and son Holt of Garber, mother Alice Marie Mack of Lucien, brother Tom (Shelly) of Lucien, sister Staci (David) of Stillwater and nieces Jessica, Whitley, and Kaelyn and nephews Rhett and Carver, as well as several uncles, cousins, in-laws, and dear friends. He is preceded in death by his father, John Mack, as well as grandparents, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
