David Diehm

October 6, 1960 — February 14, 2021

Red Rock

David Ray Diehm of Red Rock, Oklahoma passed away at home on Sunday, February 14, 2021 at the age of 60 years, 4 months, & 8 days. The son of the late Martin Ray Diehm & Erma (Stockton) Diehm, David was born in Ponca City, Oklahoma. David grew up in Red Rock, graduating high school in 1978. David attended VoTech in Okmulgee, where he studied printing. David worked as a laborer in retail for the most of his life. David could have an engaging conversation with anyone about legos. From large sets to tiny figurines, David treasured them all. Possibly on the biggest private collections in the state, David’s lego collection was an impressive site. Spaceships, boats, & outdoor scenes filled his home. David spent his time imagining a world with endless possibilities. David would then create this world out of legos. Never really growing up, David lived his best life playing with legos.

David leaves behind to forever cherish his memory: Niece: Shelly Gottfried of Morrison, Oklahoma: Nephew: Gary Gilliland of Stillwater, Oklahoma: Great-Nieces: Chloe Gilliland, Celsie Gottfried, & Brooklyn Gottfried: Great-Nephew: Colby Gilliland.

David was reunited in death with his parents and sister, Kim Gilliland.
