Debbie Ann Hawkins

August 27, 1957 — November 19, 2022

Perry

Debbie Ann Hicks Hawkins of Perry, Oklahoma passed away on November 19, 2022. She was born August 27, 1957, to Howard Hicks and Ann Hicks (Stokes) in Okmulgee, OK. Some of her fondest memories were of growing up with her nine brothers and sisters. After graduating high school, she met the love of her life, Odis Hawkins. They were married January first of 1977 in Odessa, Texas. The two went on to have a big family of their own, with three sons, three daughters, and one grouchy cat. Debbie spent many of her days working as a CNA, which is just one of the many testimonies as to how caring of a person she was. Debbie’s love for her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren was unmatched. She loved to take her grandchildren shopping at the Dollar Tree and garage sales. Often, you would find her lovingly cooking in the kitchen, taking her grandchildren to the dollar store and garage sales, or cleaning anything she could get her hands on.

Debbie is survived by her husband Odis Hawkins of Perry, her parents Howard and Ann Hicks, daughter Cherene Glass and husband Joe Frazier, daughter Danielle and husband Oliver Wolfington, son Elazar and wife Tara Hawkins, son Ovadyah Hawkins, daughter Elisha Brensing and her fiancé Camron Carter, son Yacob and wife Shelby Hawkins, brother Howard and wife Liz Hicks, sister Susie Cooke, sister Betty Morgan, sister Diana and husband Rusty Nail, sister Valicia and husband Donnie Viet, sister Ramona and husband Joe Maehs, brother John and wife Tammy Hicks, brother Joel Hicks and his partner Crystal Hammock, sister Rebecca and husband Jason Rupp, her grandchildren  Levi Glass and fiancé Karlee Jones, Maddyx Glass, Hannah Hawkins and fiancé Ben Keenan, Jaden Hawkins, Dalton and Carson Wolfington, Kylie and Van Hawkins, Tagen Trahan, Serina, Sarah and Raven Hawkins, Abbygail Hawkins, Keaton, Adam, Emmarie, and Brian Brensing, Lyrik and Harmony Hawkins, Leo Carter, great-grandchildren Madelyn, Blaze, and David Hawkins.  Her best friend Linda Prater, her beloved cat Lily and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her Niece Diane Morgan.
