Helen Janet Windiate, 52, of Coyle has passed away.  She was born in Perry on September 10, 1967 the daughter of John David Heskett and Letha Maxine Redburn Heskett.  She met the love of her life, Wendall Wayne Windiate, and on September 29, 1997 they were married in Eureka Springs.    She worked at Ditch Witch as a shipping clerk.  She loved birds and sewing.  Her grandkids were the most important thing in her life.  She also liked to travel and explore new places.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband Wendall of the home, daughter Glenna McKenzie and her husband Josh of Perry, Son J.D. Pennington of Perry, son Justin Windiate and his wife Christine of Tryon, grandchildren Karmen Windiate, Hunter Windiate, Charles McKenzie, Jaden Waid, Cyndalyn Waid, Tristan Waid, and Kenlee Pennington, Brother Larry Wheling of Perry, sister-in-law Patricia Moore and her husband Bob, Sister-in-law Rhonda Ponffick and her husband Terry,  mother-in-law Lavern Black  and her husband Tony, sister-in-law Teresa Heskett,  as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents John and Maxine Heskett, sister Jan Montgomery and her husband Larry and brother David Heskett.

Friends are welcome to stop by Brown-Dugger on Wednesday (6/9) and Thursday (6/10) 8-4 pm, to sign her book and pay their respects.  Funeral services will begin at 10 am on Friday June 11, 2021 at the First Baptist Church of Perry with reverend Justin Hartwell officiating.  Casket bearers for the service include Brian Thomas, Luke Thomas, Jake Thomas, Justin Windiate, Eric Montgomery and Michael Wehling.  Interment will follow at the Grace Hill Cemetery pavilion in Perry.  The Funeral procession, escorted by the Perry Police Department, will leave the funeral home at around 10:30.  If you want to join us, please fall in line behind the family.
