June Ann Chambers-Sattler has passed away.  She was 88 years young.  She was born in Pleasant Plains, Arkansas to William Henry Vandaveer and his wife Gracie Edna Riggs Vandaveer.  The family moved to Oklahoma when June was a child to take over the family farm near Lexington.  After graduating from High School, June married her first love, Ed Chambers on September 18, 1949.  The couple was blessed with two children- Linda Kay and Michael Dean.  Sadly, eight year old Michael passed away shortly after moving to Perry.  Ed and June were married for nearly 50 years when he passed in 1996.
