Mrs. Loretta Vondell Richardson has crossed the pearly gates and entered heaven. She was 86 years young. Born in Coalgate, OK on May 1, 1936, Loretta was the daughter of Leo "Bud" Virgil Fritz and Ruby Ruth Fritz. Raised in Coalgate she attended school there along with her brothers and sister. After high school, she married her one true love, Wayne Richardson. They shared many happy years raising a family in Perry.
The family moved to Perry in 1967 where she settled down. She worked at the City of Perry as a payroll clerk for 32 years. She enjoyed sewing clothes for people around town when she was younger. She collected angels and had a way with green plants. Some of her house plants are over 80 years old. You could often find her watching Judge Judy on tv while she indulged her sweet tooth with banana taffy or glazed donuts. A true homemaker at heart, she enjoyed doing housework and cooking for her family.
She leaves behind to mourn her loss her daughter Karen "Sis" Biaglow and husband Jim of Tennessee, daughter Lora Richardson of Perry, grandson Chris Richardson of the home, grandson Travis Richardson of Perry, grandson Jeffrey Richardson of Stillwater, brother John Fritz of Coalgate, Maggie Jeter of Perry, many nieces and nephews as well as a large extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents Bud and Ruby Fritz, Husband Wayne, son Lonnie Richardson, sister Juanita Morris and brother Tommy Fritz.
Friends are welcome to stop by the Brown Dugger Funeral Home to pay their respects and sign her guest book on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 from 10 to 5 p.m. The reception/ open house will be held the night before the service (Tuesday 6/1) at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. everyone is invited and refreshments will be served. Feel free to come and visit, view her angel collection and celebrater her life.
The funeral will begin at 2 p.m. on Wednesday June 2, 2021 at the Brown Dugger chapel. Pastor Clydene Williams will officiate. Casket bearers for the service will include Thomas Fritz, Brandon Acosta, Johnny Wayne Fritz, Dillion Acosta, Gary Richardson and Larry Acosta. Family will be driven by limousine to Grace Hill Cemetery for graveside rites at the pavilion. If you would like to join in the procession just fall in line behind.
