Mickey Ray Winsett of Perry has passed away. He was 70 years young.
He was born at home on February 12, 1951 in Caddo, Oklahoma. The son of J.B. and Lois Price Winsett. He was raised with six sisters in a home filled with laughter and love. He attended Caddo schools from 1st through 8th grades. He was born and raised on a farm and worked very hard to help with the chores. He learned a hard work ethic and a love of nature.
He worked for many years as an assembly line worker for a local printing company. He was part of a team who printed magazines. He enjoyed spending time with his family, garage saling, and collecting antiques. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, and vegetable gardening. Mickey had a passion for rabbits, he bred, raised, sold them.
He is survived by his wife, Sheila of the home, son Keith Winsett of Perry, son Brandon Winsett of Blanchard, son Shane Grimes of Houston, son Selby Grimes of Houston, grandchildren: Paxton, Camden, Braydon, Addison, Waylon, Kenzie, Stormi, Rylee, Bailee, Haylee, and Shawn. He also leaves behind to mourn his loss, sisters Bobbie Ruby of TX, Cathy Langham of OK, and Yvonne Dumpstat and her husband Jimmy of TX as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
Mickey was reunited in heaven with his parents, sister Betty Perry and her husband Benny, sister Genie Winsett, sister Linda Reed and her husband Perry, sister Becky Rose and her husband Cary Joe, as well as brothers-in-law Harold Landham and Gene Ruby.
Friends and family are welcome to stop by Brown Dugger Funeral Home to pay their respects and sign his guest book from 10 until 3 on Thursday and Friday. A memorial service will be held to celebrate his life on Monday, May 17, 2021 starting at 1 p.m. Brown Dugger Funeral Home 1010 N 7th street Perry OK.
