It is with profound sadness that we announce that Stacey Todd Harris of Tulsa left this world to be with our Heavenly Father on February 20, 2022. He was only 60 years old.  He was born on February 3, 1962 the son of Stacey Gene Harris and Nicki Gayle Dukes Harris.

He attended Mulhall Orlando schools K-12, graduating in the spring of 1980 with the honor of a music scholarship. After graduation he attended SWOSU in Weatherford, OK where he obtained his Bachelor’s degree.  He went on to attend The University of Arkansas in Fayetteville where he earned his Master’s degree.  He worked as a band and vocal music teacher at Mulhall Orlando schools for 3 years and at Perry schools for 5 years.

He performed and sang in many operas, musicals and plays and one notable performance while at SWOSU was the lead in “Man of La Mancha”. He also directed “Guys & Dolls” at Perry High school in 1992. “The Fantasticks” in 1994 and “Nunsense” in 1995 at the Stagecoach Theatre in Perry.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his father Stacey Gene Harris of Perry, sister Wendi Gayle Barrett and her husband Steve of Stillwater, nieces and nephews:  Cole Kinnamon and his wife Shailea of Edmond and Connor Kinnamon and his girlfriend Audrey Adams of Stillwater. Great niece and nephew Emillia and Jax Kinnamon as well as his very dear and steadfast friend Joyce Andresen of Tulsa.

He also leaves behind Bubbles and Sissy, his cherished 12 year old feline fur babies.

He was preceded in death by his mother who passed just December 5, 2021.

Todd was involved as an active volunteer with the non-profit organization TNVR (Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return) in Tulsa. They use humane protocols to improve the lives of existing community cats while working to stabilize and reduce the cat population.
